Bronwyn Hayward, MNZM, is Professor of Political Science and International Relations at the University of Canterbury and a world expert on sustainability and youth politics. Hayward is Director of UC’s Sustainable Citizenship and Civic Imagination: Hei Puāwaitanga research group.
As a social scientist, Hayward was the only New Zealand lead author serving on UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change Special Report on the impacts of global warming of 1.5 ºC
