Liana MacDonald

Liana MacDonald is an Indigenous sociologist and Associate Professor of Māori, Moriori and Indigenous Peace Studies at Ōtākou Whakaihu Waka – University of Otago. Her research examines how racism, whiteness and settler colonialism take shape in national institutions, and how Māori and other Indigenous peoples resist and flourish regardless.
