Dr Merja Myllylahti is a researcher and senior lecturer in the screen, audio and journalism department at Auckland University of Technology (AUT). She is also co-director at the AUT’s research centre for Journalism, Media and Democracy (JMAD). She is a leader of trust in news in Aotearoa New Zealand project and has previously authored multiple Aotearoa New Zealand Media Ownership reports.
